Emy is a Honduran white bat.
Personality
Emy is carefree and more than a little eccentric. She is mindful, but is happy to be left to her own devices and given freedom to be a bit weird. Her tastes are eclectic and varied, a result of her shifting interests and frequent desire for newness and change.
She is quite liberal—being a democratic socialist—though she’s not particularly political.
Appearance
Emy is a Honduran white bat (Ectophylla alba) with very light grey (almost white) fur and pale green skin—similar to but less flesh-coloured to typical Honduran white bats. Also like most Honduran whites, she is excessively fluffy, with an abundance of fur that makes her appear quite round despite actually having a relatively slim physique underneath it all.
Her nose points upwards, as is typical of the species. She does not have any ‘human-style’ hair; her head just has more fuzz. She doesn’t have prominent ‘human-style’ breasts. Wings should be depicted as an extension of the arms and not on the back.
Emy’s eyes always appear visibly closed, with only the slant of the eyelids and eyelashes giving any indication to her emotional state. Despite seemingly never opening her eyes, she wears half-framed horn-rimmed glasses. She’s still blind as a bat, after all.
Emy dresses quite airily, favouring long skirts, cardigans, baggy tops, ponchos (for wings) and generally less stifling fashions.
Abilities
Being a bat, Emy is capable of sustained flight.
Emy can proficiently play the ukulele.
